D-Fibroheal Foam (Non Adhesive)

Description: D-Fibroheal Foam is an active surgical foam dressing, specially designed to address exudate management and enhance wound healing in non-infected, moderate to high exuding acute and chronic wounds, especially during the inflammatory phase following debridement or de-sloughing, when exudates are more, and drainage is at its peak.

It is a bi-layered, conformable, highly absorbent foam dressing which promotes wound healing, while maintaining optimal moisture balance at the wound site and protects the wound from secondary infections. Additionally, the silk protein and asiaticoside complex layer, which is in contact with wound surface supports cellular functions and maintains an environment that is conducive for faster wound healing and re-epithelialization.

  • Super absorbent foam dressing
  • Conforms to the wound bed
  • Effectively traps and locks the wound fluid and its components
  • Has excellent air and oxygen permeability
  • Maintains optimal environment for wound healing
  • Accelerates epithelialization
  • Longer wear time and pain-free removal
  • Minimizes the risk of maceration and leakage
  • Superior pain index
  • Minimizes scar formation
  • Suitable for use under compression

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Foam is intended for the management of moderate to high exuding acute and chronic wounds including 2nd degree burns, donor sites, skin abrasions, partial and full thickness wounds, leg ulcers and pressure sores, trauma or surgical wounds, mechanically or surgically debrided wounds, orthopaedic and vascular wounds.

D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed

Description: D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed is a sterile silk and silver based surgical wound dressing used where wound infection and exudate management is particularly of concern. The dressing sheet is suitably meshed to facilitate easy drainage of fluids from the wound site and to maintain optimal moist environment at the wound site.

It can be applied directly at the wound site as a primary dressing to control infection, reduce wound bioburden levels, improve the efficiency of wound healing and facilitates faster wound closure.

The sustained release mechanism of silver ions from the bi-layered dressing sheet has broad spectrum anti-microbial activity which effectively controls infections at the wound site by restraining the growing bacteria and provides a wound environment most conducive to healing.  Additionally, the silk protein and asiaticoside complex promotes high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties which facilitates faster wound closure.

  • Biocompatible and safe
  • Has excellent air and oxygen permeability
  • Forms a protective barrier against infection and moisture
  • Allows free passage of exudate through the mesh and keeps the wound bed clean
  • Sustained release of silver ions with prolonged antimicrobial activity
  • Decreases wound bioburden
  • Maintains an optimal moist environment for wound healing
  • Accelerates epithelialization
  • Superior pain index
  • Minimizes scar formation

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed is intended for the management of low to moderately exudating, partial and full thickness, infected wounds including 1st and 2nd degree burns, donor and recipient sites, surgical sites, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers and skin abrasions etc.

Available in: 10x10cm, 10x25cm, 20x25cm, 20x40cm

D-Fibroheal Ag Foam (Non-Adhesive)

Description:  D-Fibroheal Ag Foam is a sterile, soft, conformable, bi-layered silver impregnated polyurethane foam dressing for moderate to heavily exudating, hard-to-heal or any type of stalled or cavity wounds. It is specifically designed to offer comfort, prevent infection and accelerate wound healing, while maintaining optimal moisture balance at the wound site and to protect the wound from secondary infections.

The broad spectrum anti-microbial activity and sustained release mechanism of silver ions from the multilayered foam dressing throughout the wear time; ensures effective infection control by restraining the growing bacteria, decreases wound bed bioburden levels and provides a conducive environment for improved and faster healing. Additionally, the silk protein and asiaticoside complex promotes high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties which facilitates faster wound closure.

The super absorbent property of this foam dressing traps the excess exudates, keeps the wound area clean by allowing evaporation of wound exudates through the pores and thus reduces the risk of maceration.

  • Super absorbent foam dressing, conforms to the wound bed
  • Sustained release of silver ions with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity
  • Effectively traps and locks the wound fluids
  • Maintains optimal moist environment for wound healing
  • Accelerates epithelialization
  • Longer wear time and pain-free removal
  • Minimizes the risk of maceration and leakage
  • Superior pain index
  • Minimizes scar formation
  • Suitable for use under compression

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Ag Foam is intended for use in management of wide range of mild to highly exuding, infected chronic wounds with delayed healing such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and pressure sores. The dressing  can also be used for management of 2nd degree burns, donor sites, skin abrasions, partial and full thickness wounds, trauma or surgical wounds, mechanically or surgically debrided wounds, orthopaedic and vascular wounds etc.
