D-Fibroheal Ag Sprinkling Powder

Description: D-Fibroheal Ag Sprinkling Powder is first of its kind revolutionary product, in terms of its unique components, properties and performance. It is specially formulated to offer bioburden reduction, fluid management and faster healing to virtually any size, shape or depth of the wound, best suited for both difficult-to-dress and difficult-to-heal wounds.

It is an advanced antimicrobial powder wound dressing containing silk protein and asiaticosides complex, to facilitate high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties for faster wound closure and also aids in fluid handling as it absorbs the excess wound exudates, which can be easily removed during wound cleansing process.

In addition, D-Fibroheal Ag Sprinkling Powder delivers a constant stream of antimicrobial silver ions into the wound that are required to maintain a continuous antibacterial barrier without any cytotoxicity. It effectively creates an environment hostile to bacteria and fungi, inhibits the growth of new bacteria, helps prevent the migration of existing bacteria at the wound site and thus reduces the risk of infection.

  • Easily fits to any wound shape and size
  • Constant antimicrobial protection, reduces bioburden
  • Absorbs excess exudates and maintains optimal moist environment
  • Supports cell migration, cell attachment and healthy granulation
  • Reduces pain and minimizes scar formation

This powder dressing can be used in combination with other dressings and treatment procedures like compression bandage, total contact cast, NPWT transition dressing and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Ag Sprinkling Powder is ideal for deep, infected and non-healing / slow-healing surgical, acute and chronic wounds with mild to moderate and heavy exudation.

D-Fibroheal Ag

Description:  D-Fibroheal Ag is a bi-laminated wound dressing having broad spectrum antimicrobial activity, high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties. It can be applied directly at the wound site as primary dressing to control infection, improve the efficiency of wound healing and facilitates faster wound closure.

It is a non-adherent film addressing comprising on two layers; hydrophilic and hydrophobic layer. The core of the dressing is the hydrophilic layer containing silk protein, asiaticoside and silver ion complex, which is in contact with wound surface, facilitates and maintains an environment that is favorable for wound healing and re-epithelialization. The sustained release mechanism of silver ions from the two layers, effectively controls infections at the wound site, decreases bio burden levels and creates a wound environment conducive to healing. The hydrophobic layer will be away from the wound surface, which prevents moisture, dust and microbes entry but allows free passage of air through pores of the film.

  • Biocompatible and safe
  • Has excellent air and oxygen permeability
  • Forms a protective barrier against infection and moisture
  • Sustained release of silver ions with prolonged antimicrobial activity
  • Decreases wound bioburden
  • Creates an optimal environment for wound healing
  • Accelerates epithelialization
  • Superior pain index
  • Reduces scar formation

Intended Use:  D-Fibroheal Ag is intended for the management of infected, partial and full thickness, non or very low exuding wounds including 1st and 2nd degree burns, donor and recipient graft sites, surgical sites, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers

Available in: 5x5cm, 10x10cm, 10x25cm, 20x25cm, 20x40cm

D-Fibroheal Ag Foam (Non-Adhesive)

Description:  D-Fibroheal Ag Foam is a sterile, soft, conformable, bi-layered silver impregnated polyurethane foam dressing for moderate to heavily exudating, hard-to-heal or any type of stalled or cavity wounds. It is specifically designed to offer comfort, prevent infection and accelerate wound healing, while maintaining optimal moisture balance at the wound site and to protect the wound from secondary infections.

The broad spectrum anti-microbial activity and sustained release mechanism of silver ions from the multilayered foam dressing throughout the wear time; ensures effective infection control by restraining the growing bacteria, decreases wound bed bioburden levels and provides a conducive environment for improved and faster healing. Additionally, the silk protein and asiaticoside complex promotes high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties which facilitates faster wound closure.

The super absorbent property of this foam dressing traps the excess exudates, keeps the wound area clean by allowing evaporation of wound exudates through the pores and thus reduces the risk of maceration.

  • Super absorbent foam dressing, conforms to the wound bed
  • Sustained release of silver ions with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity
  • Effectively traps and locks the wound fluids
  • Maintains optimal moist environment for wound healing
  • Accelerates epithelialization
  • Longer wear time and pain-free removal
  • Minimizes the risk of maceration and leakage
  • Superior pain index
  • Minimizes scar formation
  • Suitable for use under compression

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Ag Foam is intended for use in management of wide range of mild to highly exuding, infected chronic wounds with delayed healing such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and pressure sores. The dressing can also be used for management of 2nd degree burns, donor sites, skin abrasions, partial and full thickness wounds, trauma or surgical wounds, mechanically or surgically debrided wounds, orthopaedic and vascular wounds etc.

Available in: 5x5cm, 10x10cm, 20x20cm

D-Fibroheal Ag Particle

Description:  D-Fibroheal Ag Particles are pure lyophilized silk protein & nano silver based antimicrobial particles with an increased surface area in a completely bio-absorbable form for advanced and faster healing.

The Ag particles are more bio-active due to their wider surface area and sustained antimicrobial activity. It offers excellent bioavailability, make better contact with cellular components around the wound bed, and promote wound healing by stimulating the formation of new granulation tissue.

  • Completely bio-absorbable, leaves no residue at the wound site
  • Offers excellent bioavailability and reduces wound bioburden levels with sustained antimicrobial activity
  • Easy to apply, conforms to uneven and irregular wound surfaces
  • Fill in the gaps and provides a structural matrix for tissue and vascular growth
  • Stimulates fibroblast migration and collagen synthesis
  • Promotes healthy granulation for early grafting

Intended Use: Infected deep cavity, undermined and tunnelled, surgical and trauma wounds caused due to various aetiology.

Available in: 2ml, 5ml, 10ml, and 15ml vial

D-Fibroheal Ag Foam Adhesive

Description:  D-Fibroheal Ag Foam Adhesive is a silk protein and nano silver based super-absorbent, antimicrobial foam dressing with adhesive backing which provide safe and secure fixation over the wound site. The PU foam padding has high fluid handling capacity, absorb exudates, controls and prevent wound infection and allows transpiration to reduce the risk of maceration or desiccation.

  • Highly conformable, soft foam dressing, provide added comfort to patient
  • Slow and sustained release mechanism of silver for prolonged antimicrobial activity
